posted on

June 2, 2021

It's nearly impossible to build a base of loyal, repeat customers if you don't have a strong partnership with the right meat-processor. You can do everything right to source and produce high quality products, only to still have things go south due to quality control issues at the processing / packing step.

And the worst part is that it's easy to feel like you're powerless to ensure that things get done right.

Don't get us wrong... These companies have a challenging job to do, but it's crucial to make sure you have a partner you can depend on!

After having polite 'breakups' with dozens of different processors over the years, we finally decided to majorly change the decision factors we were using to choose our next partners. And that has been a game-changer! Today, we work with a handful of carefully selected processing partners that are truly world-class to work with.

If you're seeking a more reliable processing arrangement, learn more about the mistakes to avoid in this GrazeCast episode! (NOTE: While we'll be sharing examples related to working with meat-processors, these principles apply to any type of 3rd party partner involved in the food-chain)
